Custom Garry's Mod playermodel

Your character, modelled for Garry's Mod and custom-made by KroziX. No shop, no mass-produced model: every playermodel starts from your request, goes through a personal quote and is built with you until delivery.

Made to order

Quote-based, no commitment

What is a playermodel?

In Garry's Mod, the playermodel is the 3D model that represents your character: it's what other players see on the server, in every scene and every animation.

Most players pick from models already published on the Workshop. A custom playermodel is made for a single character, yours: its silhouette, outfit, accessories and details come from your description and your references.

On a roleplay server, that changes everything: your character is recognisable at a glance, and it looks like no one else.

Custom work, in practice

  • One character, one request, one quote.
  • Exchanges and approvals while it's being made.
  • A file delivered by email or on Discord.

What can be customised

Every project is different: these options are discussed while your request is reviewed, then written down in the quote.

Look and outfit
Silhouette, clothing, hair, accessories, worn gear: the model follows what you describe and what your references show.
Bodygroups
Parts you can show or hide in game on the same model — a mask, a hood, armour, a bag — to fit the outfit to the scene without switching characters.
Skins and textures
Several texture sets for one model: colour variants, a clean or battle-worn outfit, another faction's uniform.
For playing on RP servers
The playermodel is intended for in-game use, including on an RP server where its staff allow it: check their rules before ordering. Installation details are set out in the quote.
Level of detail
Simple, standard or highly detailed: you say what you have in mind in the form, and the quote is prepared accordingly.

How an order works

Seven steps, from your request to delivery. Nothing is charged before you accept the quote.

  1. Step 1 : Your request

You describe your character in the form on this page. No commitment: you get a request number, then a reply by email.

  2. Step 2 : The review

Every request is reviewed individually. If details are missing, you'll be asked; your reference images can then be shared by email or on Discord.

  3. Step 3 : The quote

You receive a personal link to your quote by email: the itemised work, the total, the deposit and balance, the validity date and the terms.

  4. Step 4 : Your agreement

You accept or decline the quote online, from that link. Declining costs nothing; accepting places the order.

  5. Step 5 : The deposit

You pay the deposit via PayPal from the quote page. Work starts as soon as it is received.

  6. Step 6 : The making

The playermodel takes shape, with rounds of approval: how many is stated in the quote.

  7. Step 7 : Balance and delivery

You pay the balance via PayPal, then the playermodel is delivered by email or on Discord. No download on the site.

Ordering questions

These answers come from how orders actually work. For anything else, the contact form is there.

How much does a custom playermodel cost?

There is no price list: every playermodel is priced on a quote, based on your description, the level of detail and the requested features. The budget you enter in the form is a guide, and nothing is charged before you accept the quote.

How long does it take?

It depends on the project and is stated with the quote. If you have a deadline (server launch, RP event…), enter it in the "Desired timeframe" field of the form.

How does payment work?

Via PayPal, usually in two parts: a deposit once the quote is accepted, then the balance before delivery. The amounts are on the quote. The site never handles any bank details.

Does the form commit me to anything?

No. The form is a non-binding quote request. The order only exists once the quote is accepted online.

Can I use it on my RP server?

You receive a right to use the delivered playermodel, personally and on the servers of your choice. Each server's staff decide whether custom models are allowed: check its rules. Source files remain the creator's property unless the quote says otherwise.

How do I send my reference images?

After the first contact, by email or on Discord. In the form, you can already describe your character in detail and paste links to your references.

Can I ask for changes during the making?

Yes: rounds of approval are planned, and how many is stated in the quote. Beyond that, extra changes are covered by an additional quote.

How is the playermodel delivered?

By email or on Discord, once full payment has been made. There is no automatic download on the site.
